* instruct another person, company, service provider, or automated system to perform prohibited activities on your behalf.
A failure of a technical system to block automated access does not constitute permission for automated access.
## 6. No Bulk Downloading
Bulk downloading, systematic copying, mass extraction, or mass collection of Website content is prohibited.
This applies even where individual pages, results, or data items can technically be accessed manually.
Repeated requests intended to reconstruct all or a substantial part of a competition, event, results database, archive, shooter database, rankings database, configuration database, shooting-ground database, or any other dataset shall be regarded as bulk extraction and are prohibited.
## 7. No Database Extraction
The Website and information made available through it may constitute or form part of databases protected by applicable intellectual-property and database-right legislation.
You may not extract or reutilise all or a substantial part of such databases without prior written authorisation.
Repeated and systematic extraction or reutilisation of individual or otherwise insubstantial parts is also prohibited where such activity conflicts with the normal exploitation of the database or unreasonably prejudices the legitimate interests of Rangemaster Systems or another relevant rights holder.
## 8. No Commercial Reuse
Without prior written permission from Rangemaster Systems, Website information may not be:
* sold or resold;
* licensed or sublicensed;
* republished;
* syndicated;

General-purpose public search engines may access the Website only to the extent permitted by Rangemaster Systems' technical instructions, robots rules, and access-control mechanisms.
Any such limited permission does not extend to specialised data aggregators, competition-result aggregators, commercial databases, sports-data services, AI crawlers, machine-learning crawlers, scraping services, automated archival systems, or other services whose primary purpose is to collect, reproduce, analyse, or reuse Website data.
Rangemaster Systems may withdraw, restrict, or modify crawler access at any time.
## 11. Intellectual Property
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Website and its components are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Protected elements may include software, source code, Website structure, database structure, database contents, presentation, graphics, texts, logos, trademarks, result-presentation formats, graphical scoreboards, interfaces, layouts, reports, documentation, and other Website content.
No transfer or licence of intellectual-property rights takes place merely by allowing access to the Website.
## 12. Competition Data and Third-Party Rights
Some competition information may originate from organisers, shooting federations, clubs, shooting grounds, athletes, teams, competition officials, referees, juries, or other third parties.
Access to such information through the Website does not grant any right to independently collect, scrape, copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit that information.
Rights of third parties remain unaffected.
## 13. Linking
Ordinary hyperlinks directing users to publicly accessible pages of the Website are generally permitted provided that:
* the Website is not presented misleadingly;
* no non-existent affiliation, partnership, approval, or endorsement is implied;
* Website content is not framed or embedded in a way that obscures its source;
* the link does not bypass security or access controls; and
* the link is not part of an automated system intended primarily to systematically collect Website information.
## 14. Technical Security and Availability
You must not interfere with or attempt to interfere with the operation, availability, integrity, performance, or security of the Website.
Prohibited activities include:
* denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks;
* excessive automated requests;
* vulnerability scanning without authorisation;
* penetration testing without authorisation;
* introducing malicious software;
* attempting unauthorised access;
* manipulating requests;
* exploiting software vulnerabilities;
* accessing systems outside the publicly intended Website functionality;
* causing excessive server, database, or bandwidth load; or
* otherwise interfering with Website infrastructure.
## 15. Rate Limiting and Blocking
Rangemaster Systems may limit, throttle, challenge, suspend, or block access where we reasonably believe that:
* automated access is occurring;
* scraping is occurring;
* excessive requests are being generated;
* data is being collected systematically;
* these Terms are being violated;
* security is threatened;
* infrastructure stability may be affected; or
* Website information is being collected or reused without authorisation.
Restrictions may be based on IP addresses, IP ranges, autonomous system numbers, network operators, geographic regions, accounts, sessions, browser or device fingerprints, cookies, request patterns, user-agent information, or other appropriate technical criteria.
## 16. Logging and Abuse Detection
For security, availability, abuse prevention, investigation, evidence preservation, and enforcement purposes, Rangemaster Systems may log and analyse technical access information to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Such information may include:
* IP addresses;
* timestamps;
* requested URLs;
* request methods;
* HTTP headers;

Further information is contained in Part II of this document.
## 17. Suspension and Termination
Rangemaster Systems may suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice where a user, system, organisation, network, device, or automated process violates these Terms, performs unauthorised scraping, attempts to circumvent restrictions, threatens security, interferes with availability, causes excessive load, or otherwise threatens legitimate interests of Rangemaster Systems or users of the Website.
## 18. Enforcement
Unauthorised automated extraction, scraping, copying, harvesting, or reuse may result in:
* immediate blocking of access;
* blocking of IP addresses, ranges, networks, or ASNs;
* suspension or termination of accounts;
* preservation of technical evidence and server logs;
* notification of relevant network operators or hosting providers;
* cease-and-desist demands;

* court proceedings; and
* any other legal remedies available under applicable law.
## 19. Contractual Penalty for Unauthorised Scraping and Automated Data Extraction
Any person, company, organisation, or other entity that accesses or uses the Website in violation of Sections 3 to 9, including by means of unauthorised scraping, crawling, automated reading, automated downloading, data harvesting, data extraction, or comparable automated collection of information, shall, **to the extent legally permissible, be liable to pay Rangemaster Systems a contractual penalty of EUR 10,000.00 (ten thousand euros) for each separate violation event**.
A **separate violation event** includes in particular:
* each separately initiated scraping, crawling, harvesting, or automated data-extraction operation;
* each new operation started after a previous operation has been stopped, interrupted, rate-limited, challenged, or blocked;
* each renewed automated access following blocking or restriction of an IP address, IP range, account, device, server, session, network, or other access method;
* each scraping operation restarted through a different IP address, proxy, VPN, server, hosting provider, cloud service, or network;
* each independently operated bot, crawler, scraper, script, server, application, or automated collection system;
* each independently configured or separately controlled scraping process;
* each continuation of prohibited automated collection after Rangemaster Systems has expressly requested that it cease; and
* each subsequent repetition of the prohibited activity following such notice.
Multiple HTTP or HTTPS requests forming part of one single continuous automated extraction operation may be treated as one violation event.
Rangemaster Systems reserves the right to treat separately initiated, restarted, repeated, independently operated, or technically separated scraping processes as separate violation events.
The contractual penalty becomes due **irrespective of whether Rangemaster Systems can demonstrate a specific monetary loss**, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Payment does not grant any licence or permission to access, extract, retain, republish, commercially exploit, or continue collecting Website data.
Payment does not prevent Rangemaster Systems from seeking injunctive relief, requiring deletion of unlawfully obtained information, asserting intellectual-property or database rights, pursuing other legal rights, or claiming damages exceeding the contractual penalty where and to the extent permitted by applicable law.
**For the avoidance of doubt: EUR 10,000.00 is payable for each separate unauthorised scraping or automated data-extraction violation event, subject to mandatory applicable law.**
## 20. Authorised Data Access
Any organisation requiring automated access, structured data, data integration, API access, live-result feeds, competition-data feeds, scoreboard feeds, database interfaces, or other machine-readable access must obtain prior express written permission from Rangemaster Systems.
Where available, Rangemaster Systems may provide an authorised API, data feed, or contractual interface.
## 21. Accuracy and Availability
Competition information may be provisional, incomplete, delayed, corrected, modified, withdrawn, or subsequently confirmed.
Rangemaster Systems does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Website or permanent availability of historical results.
Official results remain subject to confirmation by the relevant organiser, competition jury, federation, or other competent sporting authority.
## 22. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rangemaster Systems shall not be liable for losses resulting from interruptions, Website unavailability, delayed or incomplete information, incorrect provisional results, corrections, unauthorised third-party use, reliance on unofficial data, technical failures outside our reasonable control, or acts or omissions of third-party infrastructure providers.
Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
## 23. Changes to these Terms
Rangemaster Systems may amend these Terms where reasonably necessary, including because of changes in Website functionality, infrastructure, security requirements, abuse patterns, legislation, regulatory requirements, sporting requirements, or services.
The current version will be published on the Website.
## 24. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the **Republic of Austria**.
For commercial users, companies, organisations, and legal entities, the competent court at the registered office of the Website operator in Austria shall have exclusive jurisdiction to the extent legally permissible.
Mandatory consumer-protection provisions and mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain unaffected.
## 25. Severability
If any provision is invalid, ineffective, or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
## 26. Contact
Requests concerning authorised automated access, APIs, data feeds, licensing, reproduction, redistribution, commercial use, or permission to reuse Website information must be sent to:

Public accessibility and authorisation for automated extraction are separate matters.
## 35. Historical Competition Results
Competition results may have continuing sporting, documentary, integrity, verification, and historical value after a competition has ended.
Accordingly, final competition results may remain available as historical records where there is a lawful basis for such continued processing.
The fact that a competition has ended does not automatically require immediate deletion of its results.
Requests relating to deletion, restriction, correction, or objection will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and, where relevant, may be forwarded to the responsible competition organiser or other controller.
## 36. Data Relating to Minors
Competitions may include participants under the age of 18.
Where personal data concerning minors is processed, the relevant controller must take account of the additional protection required for children under applicable data-protection law.

### Non-essential technologies
Non-essential technologies, including certain analytics, advertising, social-networking, profiling, or third-party services, will only be activated where the required legal conditions are satisfied.
Where consent is required, such technologies must not be activated before valid consent has been obtained.
Users must be able to withdraw consent as easily as it was given.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal.
## 41. Analytics and Third-Party Services
If analytics, social-network, embedded-content, mapping, video, or other third-party services are used, those services may process technical information concerning Website users.
Where such processing requires consent, the service will only be activated after the required consent is obtained.
The specific services enabled on the Website may change over time.

## 43. Unauthorised Third-Party Scraping Is Not an Intended Disclosure
Rangemaster Systems does not regard unauthorised scraping, crawling, harvesting, bulk extraction, or automated copying of Website data as an authorised method of receiving personal data.
The fact that information is displayed publicly for normal human viewing does not mean that Rangemaster Systems authorises third parties to create copies, databases, profiles, datasets, commercial services, or automated archives from that information.
Where unauthorised automated collection is detected, Rangemaster Systems may take technical and legal measures described in Part I.
## 44. International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred by Rangemaster Systems or its processors to recipients outside the European Economic Area, such transfers will be carried out in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements.
Depending on the circumstances, safeguards may include:
* an adequacy decision of the European Commission;
* Standard Contractual Clauses;
* other appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR; or
* another legally permitted transfer mechanism.
Where no international transfer by Rangemaster Systems occurs, the mere fact that a publicly accessible Website can technically be viewed from another country does not provide that viewer with permission to copy or reuse Website data.
## 45. Data Retention
Personal data is not retained longer than necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to legal obligations, contractual requirements, sporting requirements, legitimate historical interests, security needs, and applicable limitation periods.
### Competition data
Competition data may be retained for as long as required by the relevant organiser or controller and may remain available as a historical competition record where a lawful basis continues to exist.
### Ordinary technical logs
Ordinary Website and server logs are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for operational, diagnostic, security, and administrative purposes.
### Security and abuse records
Information relating to suspected scraping, attacks, unauthorised access, Terms-of-Use violations, or other security incidents may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate the incident, preserve evidence, prevent recurrence, establish or defend legal claims, and comply with applicable limitation periods or legal obligations.
### Communications
Correspondence may be retained for as long as necessary to process the request and, where relevant, for the duration of contractual or statutory record-keeping requirements.
### Consent records
Records demonstrating consent or withdrawal of consent may be retained where necessary to demonstrate compliance with legal obligations.
## 46. Data Security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against:
* unauthorised access;
* unlawful processing;
* accidental loss;
* destruction;
* alteration;
* disclosure; and
* unauthorised extraction.
Depending on the circumstances, measures may include:
* access controls;
* authentication;
* encryption;
* network-security systems;
* firewalls;
* anti-bot protection;
* request-rate controls;
* monitoring;
* logging;
* backup systems;
* software updates;
* restricted administrative access;
* security testing; and
* incident-response procedures.
No Internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
## 47. Automated Decision-Making
The Website may use automated technical systems to identify abnormal traffic, potential security threats, bots, scraping activity, excessive access, or other misuse.
Such systems may automatically rate-limit, challenge, or temporarily block requests.
These technical security decisions are designed to protect the Website and generally do not produce legal effects concerning an individual's personal or professional status.
Where legally relevant automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR occurs, applicable statutory requirements will be observed.
## 48. Rights of Data Subjects
Subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law, data subjects may have the following rights:
* **Right of access** to personal data;
* **Right to rectification** of inaccurate personal data;
* **Right to erasure** where the legal requirements are met;
* **Right to restriction of processing**;
* **Right to data portability** where applicable;
* **Right to object** to processing based on legitimate interests;
* **Right to withdraw consent** where processing is based on consent; and
* **Right to lodge a complaint** with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to statutory conditions and exceptions.
## 49. Objection to Processing Based on Legitimate Interests
Where personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, a data subject may object to processing on grounds relating to his or her particular situation.
Processing may continue where compelling legitimate grounds exist which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject or where processing is required for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
## 50. Requests Concerning Competition Results
A request to correct, restrict, or delete competition information should clearly identify:
* the participant concerned;
* the competition;
* the date;
* the shooting ground or organiser;
* the information concerned; and
* the requested correction or action.
Where the relevant competition organiser or another entity is the controller, Rangemaster Systems may forward the request to that controller or inform the requester whom to contact.
Corrections to official sporting results may require confirmation from the responsible competition organiser, jury, federation, or other sporting authority.
A data-protection request cannot be used to alter an officially confirmed sporting result where the result itself is factually correct and there is a lawful basis for its continued processing.
## 51. Exercising Data-Protection Rights
Requests concerning personal data may be sent to:
**Maxima WarenhandelsGmbH / Rangemaster Systems**
Dr. Robert Graf Strasse 64/9
A-8010 Graz

## 52. Right to Lodge a Complaint
A data subject who believes that personal data has been processed unlawfully has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
For Austria, the supervisory authority is:
**Austrian Data Protection Authority
Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde**
Data subjects may also have the right to lodge a complaint with another competent supervisory authority under the GDPR.
## 53. Accuracy of Competition Data
Competition data is generally received from competition systems, organisers, shooting grounds, or authorised users.
During an event, results may be preliminary and subject to correction.
Rangemaster Systems may update, correct, replace, or withdraw information where instructed by an authorised competition organiser or where an error is identified.
Official competition records and decisions of the competent sporting authorities take precedence over provisional information shown on the Website.
## 54. Responsibility of Competition Organisers
Competition organisers, shooting grounds, federations, and other entities supplying participant data to Rangemaster Systems are responsible for ensuring, to the extent applicable to them, that:
* personal data has been collected lawfully;
* participants receive required privacy information;
* an appropriate legal basis exists;
* only data necessary for the relevant purposes is supplied;
* information supplied is accurate;
* special-category data is not provided without a lawful basis;
* appropriate rules concerning minors are observed; and

* comply with applicable law;
* comply with a court order;
* comply with an enforceable request from an authority;
* investigate unlawful conduct;
* prevent or investigate security incidents;
* protect persons or property;
* establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
* enforce the Terms of Use.
## 56. No Sale of Personal Data
Rangemaster Systems does not sell personal data collected through the Website as a standalone commercial commodity.
Authorised contractual data services or interfaces, where offered, remain subject to applicable data-protection requirements and do not authorise unrestricted resale of personal data.

Part II explains how personal data is processed.
Nothing in this Privacy & Data Processing Policy grants a right to scrape, crawl, download, harvest, copy, republish, or otherwise automatically extract Website information.
In particular, compliance with data-protection legislation does not create permission for third parties to extract data in violation of Part I.
